Brought in by the VP of this regional trucking company to automate their payroll, we quickly realized that with just a few more data items than payroll required we could automate the entire invoice process and as a side benefit we also automated container tracking and tax payments, the next 2 of the top three items the admin staff were spending their time on.

Net Benefit:

The VP and one other person used to spend one day a week doing payroll. Now the VP spends 10 minutes signing paychecks. Followup on container locations and drop-off used to be a da-long (or more) research project. Now it's a few keystrokes.
